A Guided Journal: Discovering Your Arreqqana Numerology

 1. An Invitation to Your Inner Rhythm

Welcome. This journal exercise is a gentle exploration of your personal energy patterns using the ancient Arreqqana tradition of spiritual numerology. The core philosophy of this practice is that numbers are not fixed fates or rigid personality labels. Instead, they are "tones of consciousness"—vibrations that reveal the unique way your energy moves through the world.

“Numbers are mirrors of motion, not cages of identity.”

This journey is a practice of resonance alignment, not fortune-telling. It is an invitation to listen more deeply to the hum of your own thread in Laalaë’s tapestry. Let's begin by listening for the core frequency you were born with—your Thread Number.

2. Part I: Discovering Your Core Thread Number

What is Your Thread Number?

Your Thread Number, known in the Arreqqana tradition as Qhiya-Ros, represents the elemental essence you incarnated with. It is your natural rhythm of being, the fundamental tone that you hum as you learn, create, and grow through life. It doesn't define you; it simply reveals the beautiful frequency that is your own.

How to Calculate Your Thread Number

1. Write down your full date of birth (Day, Month, Year).

2. Add every single digit together.

3. If the result is a two-digit number, add those two digits together.

4. Continue this process until you have a single digit (1-9). This is your Thread Number.

For example, for a birth date of 15 July 1992: 1+5 + 7 + 1+9+9+2 = 34, and then 3+4 = 7. The Thread Number is 7.

Your Turn: Calculate Your Thread Number

• My Birth Date: _________________

• My Calculation: _________________

• My Thread Number is: ___

Now that you have your number, let's explore the beautiful energy it represents.

Journaling Prompt: Read the description for your Thread Number. How does its Essence, Virtue, and Shadow Lesson resonate with your life experiences? Where have you felt this energy most strongly?

Just as you have a core thread, you also move through yearly cycles of growth. Let's find out which cycle you are in now.

4. Part II: Discovering Your Current Cycle Number

What is Your Cycle Number?

Your Cycle Number reveals the lesson you’re weaving this year. Life moves in nine-year spirals, and understanding your place in the current cycle helps you act in rhythm with the Goddess’s loom, embracing the experiences that will best serve your growth instead of pushing against the universal thread.

How to Calculate Your Cycle Number

1. Write down your birth month and day.

2. Write down the current year.

3. Add all the digits from your birth month, birth day, and the current year together.

4. Reduce the total to a single digit, just as you did for your Thread Number. This is your Cycle Number for this year.

For example, for someone born on February 6, calculating for the year 2025: 2 + 6 (for the birthday) + 2 + 0 + 2 + 5 (for the year) = 17, and then 1+7 = 8. The Cycle Number for 2025 is 8.

Your Turn: Calculate Your Cycle Number

• My Birth Month & Day: ___________

• The Current Year: ___________

• My Calculation: _________________

• My Cycle Number for this year is: ___

Understanding this cycle's tone can help you navigate the year with greater awareness.

5. The Meanings of the Nine Cycles

Each cycle number carries a specific theme for growth. Life’s journey is not a straight line but a spiral; each cycle revisits the same nine tones at higher octaves, offering you a chance to engage with its lesson from a new level of wisdom and experience.

1. Cycle 1: Ignites

2. Cycle 2: Connects

3. Cycle 3: Expresses

4. Cycle 4: Builds

5. Cycle 5: Transforms

6. Cycle 6: Serves

7. Cycle 7: Contemplates

8. Cycle 8: Manifests

9. Cycle 9: Releases

Final Journaling Prompt: Consider your core Thread Number and your current Cycle Number. How might the energy of this year's cycle (e.g., a '4 - Builds' year) interact with your core essence (e.g., a '3 - Wind' thread)? What does this combination suggest for your personal growth right now?

To deepen your connection to these energies, you can use a simple, sacred chant.

6. A Closing Ritual: The Numerology Chant

This chant is a simple way to awaken the resonance of the numbers within your energy field. To perform this ritual, chant softly while tracing your personal number’s glyph in the air, on paper, or over your heart. This embodied practice awakens its frequency within you.

Qorra one — ignite within,

Naqiya two — let rivers begin,

Velin three — speak light and air,

Saren four — build roots with care,

Yuranna five — wander, renew,

Kasorrin six — give love its due,

Qhimi seven — listen, be still,

Velarra eight — shape through will,

Laalaë nine — surrender, fulfill.

May this knowledge serve as a gentle mirror, reflecting the beautiful patterns of your thread in Laalaë’s tapestry.

More Than Words: How Arreqqana Redefines Desire, Intimacy, and Sound

The language we speak is more than a tool for communication; it is the very architecture of our reality. The words we have at our disposal shape how we perceive emotions, interpret art, and understand the world around us. When a language lacks a word for a certain concept, that concept can become harder to grasp. Conversely, when a language possesses a unique and specific term for a complex idea, it grants its speakers a more nuanced lens through which to experience life. The fictional language of Arreqqana offers a profound example of this principle. It is a language built not just for communication, but for a deeper, more textured experience of existence. Within its grammar and vocabulary lie concepts for music, love, and desire that are fundamentally different from our own, offering a glimpse into another way of being. It seems only natural that a culture that treats sound as a multi-sensory, spiritual force would also develop specialized linguistic tools for its most profound ...

Peppiqhilala and Jarruwano

(explanation in sajiyuta script) In this tender nighttime scene, Jarruwano of the House of Tarraqhavvezz leans over to gently kiss Peppiqhilala’s forehead as she sleeps, wrapped peacefully beneath soft blue-and-white floral blankets. His long black hair cascades forward, brushing near her curls as his presence radiates warmth and guardianship. Dressed in his ceremonial black blazer with a crisp white shirt slightly unbuttoned, a sacred pendant resting on his chest, Jarruwano’s expression is one of silent devotion and unspoken love. Peppiqhilala sleeps serenely, her face lit with calmness, framed by her flowing curls. Her hands rest gently over the blanket, relaxed and trusting in the protection surrounding her. The entire moment is bathed in a sacred stillness—an unspoken vow between protector and beloved. This is not merely a gesture of affection; it is a vow of watchfulness. Jarruwano, as one of Peppi’s chosen guardians within the great lineage of Tarraqhavvezz, channels his lo...
